Called last night to set up an appointment for this morning and was told to just bring my car in, first thing, because it's all first come, first served here. I also asked about the coupon Service Street sent me for $19.95 for an oil change and inspection. He said that it was for blended synthetic or regular oil. He asked what kind of vehicle and I told him a 2015 Subaru Forester. He said that would be fine. So I brought the car in at 7am. I'm the first there and the Manager tells me the first tech doesn't come in until 8am. I told him that's not what the tech said last night. Then he proceeded to tell me that because my car is a 2013 or newer car, I should only put full synthetic oil in it. I asked how much and he told me $69.99. I told him that I came in for a $20 oil change and inspection and now I have to pay $70? So the manager said he would discount $15 off the price and by the way, do your tires need to be rotated? That's $10.95 more. I said no. I came in expecting to pay $20 plus tax and be done with it. Instead I end paying $ 62+change for a full synthetic oil change and no inspection or tire rotation. I said all this to say this; I will never come back here again. Being told one thing last night and then being told something different and more expensive the next morning is not what I call good customer service.
Thank you for taking the time to point out personnel issues affecting our business. Communications are essential to a good experience and somehow we managed to fail you in this area. Lack of focus, carelessness and indifference is not what we are known for. We are sorry your experience was not reflective of our reputation. Clearly we did not deliver as promised. We are very sorry to have failed you. Our staff is aware of your concern and they are looking into ways that similar issues can be avoided in the future.
