I recently took my wife's Subaru there for an oil change as I had purchased the 5 pack for $100. They told me it needed a new head gasket because it was leaking and quoted me a price of $2,700. The problem is I already had it replaced in 2013 as this is a common problem on this car. I took the car back to the original repair shop, which specializes in Subaru's, and they said it was not the head gasket but a different gasket which would cost less than $100 to repair. What is even funnier is that the tech at Service Street, who diagnosed the problem, said he was the "Subaru guy" at the shop.

So far seem to be honest and reparable

would give zero if the option was there, these guys are criminals!!! told my husband his Jeep needed over 3K in work done and made it seem like it was death trap and completely unsafe to drive. after 3 other opinions (all agreeing with each other) Service Street was the only one that deemed the car unsafe. Also, the other 3 opinions found none of what Service Street said was wrong, and only needed about $500 of repairs (brakes and rotors).

My wife had to take my new vehicle in for a flat tire from a nail while I was out of state. They tried convincing her that I needed 4 new tires (Due to AWD) because the manufacturer had discontinued the tire I needed. Brought out to the dealership and they not only had some in stock, but verified that the manufacturer had not discontinued that tire. With all the bad reviews I've seen here and in other places, I wouldn't recommend this place unless I hated you.

This place is a scam shop...I've talked to several neighbors...all say the same thing: Avoid at all costs

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went in for an oil change (that should've only cost $20 with the coupon) and they ended up stripping the oil plug bolt to my oil pan. They replaced the bolt that was $9.98 for a bolt! The next morning I had a puddle of oil in the street. The mechanics here aren't real mechanics, they have no clue what they're doing. I had to replace an entire oil pan because their mechanics forced the bolt in and cross threaded it and I had to pay for their mistake!!! They're excuse was, "it's been pulled out 40 different times so it's bound to happen." Ive only owned my car for 18,000 of the 157,000 miles it has on it but my car has never once leaked oil ever, even after an oil change. If it's done properly every time that bolt should never have to be replaced. I will never take my car here ever again, I watched the mechanics work in the garage also and they treat other people's cars horribly. A $35 oil change that should've been more like $25 turned into a $350 repair.
